Arlington Elementary was constructed in 1925 and it is thought to be renowned educational building architect William B Ittner's first major work with the Saint Louis Board of Education, although Arlington wasn't solely his work. Ittner significantly expanded upon an existing school building here. It has been abandoned for a long time.
