This house, along with the assorted barns, appears to have been built by hand. The house was originally a log cabin and this is evidenced where the ceiling has crumbled to reveal rough cut lumber with bark still attached.
This house has since been demolished.

This old house sits on a large plot of scenic farmland. The backyard consists of tree-lined rolling green hills and a lake. This once picturesque farm now lies deserted. Judging by the calendar found still clinging to the wall, no-one has lived here since 1963.
It is all currently for sale. As such, I don't imagine this house will be standing much longer..
This house has been demolished.

This house was built in the early 1900s by prominent Saint Louisan George F. Wood-Smith who is mostly remembered for the unfinished castle he was building nearby.
